Position Summary and Responsibilities:
To provide Regional Product Management and Technical Sales support, so as to develop and support the profitable and sustainable growth of the ESAB Cutting Systems business.
Responsibilities include:
- Provision of Technical application, product selection and sales support to Sales personnel, Distributors and customers as appropriate
- Assist with preparations of quotations and tender documents
- Project management of major installations
- Customer demonstrations and training on systems, related software and CNC control systems
- Assist with planning and execution of new product introductions including production of sales support material and product training
- Assist with product pricing, ERP system maintenance of product, stocking and related data
- Assist in the development and execution of strategies to increase sales of software, wear parts, retrofits etc
Qualifications Include:
- Technical aptitude with an interest in technical product/process sales and marketing
- International perspective with the ability to interface at different levels within organisations
- Flexible, self motivated with strong customer focus
- Strong communication skills
- Degree holder or minimum Diploma in suitable electrical, electronic or electro/ mechanical field.
