Singapore - ESAB Welding & Cutting Products announced the launch of its ESAB Cutmaster® Series of portable air plasma cutting systems, which range in output from 20 to 120 amps and produce a recommended "quality" cut on material from 6 mm to 40 mm. ESAB Cutmaster plasma cutters are among the lightest and most compact in the industry, making them highly portable and easy to store.

ESAB Asia Pacific Pte Ltd introduced Integrated Cold Electrode (ICE™) technology for Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) at a recent Singapore Welding Society (SWS) Technical Talk, co-organised with the Singapore Welding Society and held at the Oasis, Science Park I in late May. ESAB's Regional Segment Manager for Asia Pacific, Johnny Liwang, presented ICE to the group of welding technologists at the well-attended event. ESAB's ICE technology for SAW was shown to substantially increase productivity while exceeding the requirements for critical welds.
