In the machine product area, the time required to develop new, high-quality product families is of critical importance.

Research and development in the consumables field is characterised by a long-term approach. The constant development of welding processes is an important part of this work when it comes to realising the key objectives of benefitting the customer.

Some 3% of ESAB’s sales revenue is allocated to research & development and 450 of ESAB’s employees work in this area.
